Account & Data Deletion
Delete Your Account
You can delete your Glub account and all associated data at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account and how to do it.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: From the App
- Open Glub and go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation)
- Find the "Delete Account" button below your account info
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
- Your account and all data will be deleted immediately
Option 2: Via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to halilhamitoglu100@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete My Glub Account". Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Account information — your name, email, and profile
- Tank data — all your aquarium tanks and their settings
- Fish inventory — all fish records across all tanks
- Plant inventory — all plant records across all tanks
- Water parameters — all water test history and measurements
- Reminders — all scheduled maintenance reminders
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Please export your data before deleting your account if you want to keep a copy.
Data Retention
Upon account deletion:
- All user data is deleted from our servers immediately
- Crash reports and analytics data (collected by Firebase Crashlytics) are anonymized and cannot be linked back to your account
- Data stored locally on your device is not automatically deleted — you can uninstall the app or clear app data to remove it
